A Sodden Mess
8 comments
Apparently when the moon goes into Pisces, it makes me feel like this, the 5 of pentacles in the Druid Craft deck. Can' t you just hear Elton John, or George Michael, whomever you prefer, singing: "But losing everything...is like the sun going down oh-wa-on meeeeee!" Because, woe is me and pass the arsenic if you please. And if anyone dares to tell me I'm a bit off my rocker today, they're going to get a dose of this guy: The Knight of Swords. Back off! Because I may be crazy, but he's crazier. ("Don't make me go crazy eyes!") He's just itching to open up a nice big can of whoopass on someone. Anyone will do. You? No? How about you? Honestly, it's one of those days I should have done the world a favor and just gone back to bed. Instead, I went to 7-11 and bought a package of Tastycake Butterscotch Krimpets. Thought they'd taste nice with the Diet Pepsi w/ Lime I'd just opened and left on the counter because I just HAD to go get Butterscotch Krimpets. And NO, I am not PMS-ing, already did that this month, thankyouverymuch, which is why today's mood took me completely off-guard. It wasn't until the end of the day when I spoke with my astrologer friend who informed me of how the Pisces moon can affect some signs and apparently I've got all the right planets lined up for this soppy mess. Oh! The tears and sobs today! I'm an air sign, Libra, and while maintaining that delicate balance is never quite accomplished, I do try, Lord knows I try. Pisces just came in with a tidal wave on the emotional front (the Moon governs our emotions, like the tides) and wiped me out. Now as I wring out my clothes, I might have something tarotish to say over the weekend. Anyone want to throw me a towel?

Poor you. For once that Pisces moon isn't affecting the Cancers in the viewing audience. I think it's about time some of you airy people take on the emotional load, KWIM? If only we would have a moon that would help the earthy folks--think Capricorns--realize just how large a load we water dwellers have to carry in our hearts day after day. I do go on.

I love you even when your eyes are red. That's true friendship. A three of cups to you!

  2. Well, it's odd, actually, as I have a Taurus Moon. Can't get more earthy than that, can you? So I ended up with mud when that Pisces Moon flooded in, big sopping wet mud puddles.

And leave it to a water sign to hand me three cups. More water. At least these are contained and three of cups is so supportive and nice. Thank you, Carol. (((hugs)))

Sophia, forget the butterscotch, use chocolate! Works great for those times when you're making mudpies for dinner...in fact, that's what the mud is telling you! Eat chocolate.

There is actually a chemical that's released when you eat chocolate that sets off the endorphins in your brain so that you actually FEEL better and less like crying. I'm a capricorn with one foot in the water, and so I know when to go buy chocolate. Today is a happy day for me, though, so chocolate isn't on my mind, but only laundry...there's that water again...but at least my clothing will be clean and dry! :)

  5. Darn, Sophia. I'm sorry you were going through this while I was driving 400 miles to AZ. I wasn't watery (Scorpio sun and rising with Aries moon) until Sunday night when I got back. And I hear you, too, Carol, about waterlogged hearts for water-dwellers. You'd think my Aries moon would burn off some of that, but I haven't mastered the art of making that happen too well yet...

  6. A double Scorpio? Good grief woman! How intense! :D No wonder I love you. I seem to be very attracted to water signs. I count Cancers, Scorpios and Pisces among my closest friends. Well, if that tidal wave on Friday was indicative of what you people have to deal with on a regular basis, my hat goes off to you. Oy!

  7. I stuff a lot. ;)

What else can a watery sort do? I should meditate more regularly but there ya go. Heh.

Where is your moon? I know you've said before, but I'm not remembering.

I've noticed some interesting things in the kids' charts. They seem to reflect elements that are prominent in both mine and their dad's...he's a (generally) very practical, sometimes strangely visionary Virgo/Libra cusp person. Sept 22. With an Aquarian moon. He's also got Scorpio rising. He's often more intense than I am - but exhibits much more emotional control. Too much, to my way of thinking sometimes. ;)

  8. I'm very balanced, actually (what do you expect from a Libra?) -- I'm Libra sun, Aries rising, and Taurus moon.

True about the kids charts, I've noticed as well. :)
